Ploom Club Terms & Conditions

The Terms and Conditions of the Ploom Club (“Terms and Conditions”) are set forth below. 

We are not liable for business losses

We only supply the products for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the product for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

1. Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in this programme you must be aged 18 or over and you must be a current smoker or vaper residing in Malaysia.

1.1 How to join

To join the Ploom Club and become a member, you must register for a user account on the Website. Information on registering the user account can be found in the Terms of Use. As a registered user on the Website, you automatically become a member of Ploom Club. Only one membership is permitted per unique email address/phone number.

1.2 Acceptance of terms

When you create an account and become a Ploom Club member on our Website you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 Membership benefits

By becoming a Ploom Club member you can benefit from the Ploom Club loyalty program. As a Ploom Club member you will be awarded with points when completing specific actions that can then be redeemed for discounts on orders made on our Website or for exclusive prizes and experiences made available on our Website. 

Once you’re a member, you can access the information and current overview of all accumulated points in the Ploom Club section of your Account Dashboard that can be accessed here.

1.4 How to leave

You can choose to deactivate your membership by deleting your Ploom Account any time under your Account Dashboard section.

2. Points Explained

Points are valid for TWO (2) calendar years from the date you earned them. For example, if you earn 100 points on 31st December 2024 and another 200 points on 2nd January 2025, the expiry for 100 points will be 31st December 2025 and for 200 points will be 31st December 2026. 

Points are for personal use only and are non-refundable, non-transferable between members, cannot be redeemed in cash and are not redeemable against delivery charges. Points can only be used for discounts and prize redemption on our Website. 

If you decide to delete your account, you will lose all access to your Ploom Club membership benefits permanently, including all accumulated points in your account and will not be able to retrieve them if you decide to join as a member again. 

In any case if we decide to remove the points system from Ploom Club membership benefits, you will not receive any sort of remuneration for the removal and all accumulated points in your account will be forfeited. 

2.1 Earning points

You have a variety of ways to collect points on our Website; for instance, by performing the following:

• Creating a user account;

• Registering a Ploom device in the user account;

• Making a purchase on our Website;

• Recommending our products to other adult smokers who are residents of Malaysia (In this case, points are exclusively awarded for referrals if the referred person formalizes their first purchase on our Website using your referral code – Find out more at “Refer A Friend” section below)

• Other activities, communicated to you from time to time on our Ploom.my Website.

The complete list of how to collect points can be found at Earn Points. Please note that we may at our sole discretion and without prior notice add, remove, or modify the content of this list.

2.2 Spending points

Every 100 points is worth MYR 5. Points can be redeemed on any order at checkout on our Website or exchanged for prizes available at Redeem Rewards. Points may not be eligible to be redeemed against purchases of some products.

Do note that:

• If you opt to redeem points in the checkout process of an order on our Website, you will not be entitled to collect any points for the entirety of that order.

• The availability of specific rewards is subject to change and may vary based on stock and other factors. 

• Once points are redeemed, and the transaction is final, points cannot be refunded.

• Points are always applied by age of collection (first in, first out). For example, if you have 300 accumulated points in your account, 100 points is expiring on 31st December 2024 and 200 points is expiring on 31st December 2025, the 100 points will be utilized first if you choose to make a redemption. 

• After their expiration, the points will expire irrevocably. Upon expiration, all claims or entitlements related to the expired points are excluded.

3. Refer A Friend

‘Referrer’ – means the registered Ploom account holder recommending a Friend to Ploom.

‘Friend’ – means a friend of the Referrer who is 18 or over and who is an existing adult smoker who receives a Referral Code from the Referrer.

‘Referral Code’ - means the unique code a Referrer can use to recommend a Friend to Ploom and which entitles the Friend to purchase their first Ploom X Advanced device at RM89 on our Website, or such other reward that is communicated by us from time to time.

Referral Date’- means the date the Referral Code is sent by the Referrer to the Friend.

‘Reward’ – means the 1000 Ploom Club points added to the Referrer’s account once a Friend has used their Referral Code and make a device purchase on our Website, or such other reward that is communicated by us from time to time.

3.1 The Referrer

Referrer must be an existing registered Ploom account holder and have obtained their Friend’s permission before referring them and sharing with them their Referral Code.

Referrer can make multiple referrals. Provided that these Terms and Conditions are complied with they will receive a Reward for each Friend they refer.

3.2 The Friend

Friend must be 18 or over and an existing smoker and must not already have a registered Ploom account.

Friend must be a first time purchaser on our Website and must not have participated in the Ploom Refer a Friend program before.

3.3 How to Refer a Friend

The Referrer’s Referral Code can be found within their Account Dashboard under Ploom Club. See the Ploom Club Terms and Conditions for details of how to become a member of the Ploom Club.

1. The Referrer may copy and share the Referral Code with their Friends who are 18 or over and existing adult smokers.
2. The Friend will be required to create a Ploom account and use the Referral Code when registering and purchasing their first Ploom X Advanced device at RM89 on our Website.
3. Upon the Friend making their first purchase of a Ploom X Advanced device the Referrer will then receive a Reward.
4. You cannot refer yourself or the same Friend multiple times.

3.4 Referral Codes

Referral Codes can be redeemed once per Friend only against the purchase of their first Ploom X device at RM89 on our Website. A Friend has 12 months from the Referral Date to redeem the Referral Code upon which time their use of the Referral Code will then expire.

4. Personal Information

We, or entities we instruct, collect and store all relevant personal information you provide to help us administer the Ploom Club and facilitate your participation in the loyalty program. For more information on how we use and protect your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.

5. General Terms

You must not attempt to obtain points fraudulently. We reserve the right to remove any points we reasonably suspect have been obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions. 

We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions, withdraw or modify the Ploom Club benefits we provide, or withdraw the Ploom Club loyalty program in its entirety at any time without notice.

All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the Ploom Club, the availability of points, or your adherence to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by us at our sole discretion. Our final decision shall be binding.
